    AdvanceWork does not claim ownership of Customer Data uploaded, created, stored, or processed through the Service. Customer retains all rights, title, and interest in and to Customer Data.

    AdvanceWork processes Customer Data solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, securing, supporting, and improving the Service.

    3. How We Use Your Information

    • Provide and operate the AdvanceWork platform
    • Enable mission planning, scheduling, and secure communications
    • Facilitate team coordination and location tracking during active operations
    • Improve and enhance Service functionality
    • Respond to user inquiries and provide technical support
    • Comply with applicable laws and security obligations

    3a. Customer Responsibility

    Customer is responsible for obtaining any notices, consents, authorizations, or approvals required under applicable law for the collection, use, or processing of information relating to employees, contractors, agents, drivers, protectees, or other individuals whose information may be entered into or processed through the Service.

    4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

    Where GDPR applies, we process personal data under one or more of the following legal bases:

    • Performance of a Contract (to deliver the Service)
    • Legitimate Interests (security and operational needs)

    Customer Data is not intentionally transferred outside the United States for storage or processing as part of the Service.

    8a. No Sale of Personal Information

    AdvanceWork does not sell Customer Data, personal information, location information, mission information, operational information, or protectee information to third parties.

    Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
